Thompson does not make "primitive" weapons
That's why people buy them. They really want a superbly made tool.

If all they wanted was a primitive gun there's lots of reproduction kits available - for way less money.

    Thompson is not primitive.

maybe its due to less moving parts. Could be that the Nagant your using is really beat up and the tolerances are not as tight as they once were. I am sure it kicks like a mule, too. hoys the recoil on that Thompson?

Well one man's sniper rifle is another man's junk.

I like the Remington 700 with the heavy barrel for sitting pretty and sniping.

The Thompson has a more well engineered and more precision manufactured barrel than the Ruskie crap. It's going to put it's pay load in the same place more often than an old WWII rifle made by people, who at the time, were still trying to communicate with aliens.

It could be that the barrel is shot out, the muzzle crown is damaged, the wood warped, the sights loose, the chamber set out too far, or that the rifle defended the fatherland at the siege of Stalingrad. It is a POS you bought for fifty bucks. betcha paid more for the Hawken than the Mosin.
