The Papoose looks like their standard rifle with a takedown barrel. I've shot a few of the base rifle, have one in the garage in fact, very good little gun. You could harvest a lotta game with it. You can easily scope this rifle.

Now the AR7 (I have one of those in the garage too) is the kinda gun you can take and just stuff into your backpack until you want it. It is light, accurate, and the peephole sight is very quick. The weapon feels like an M16 when you shoot it, really! You can only mount a short scope (3.5" base length.) or it hits the rear sight. Or it has to be a tall sight.

Other than scoping issues, both are excellent guns. The AR7 is more versatile, the Papoose easier to scope.

Pretty much the way I saw it but wanted a second opinion. I know what you mean about the AR-7 feeling like an M-16, I think it is because the AR-7 is so light. Thanks!
