The next arms ban

So let's say a gun-snatcher like Hillary or Obama gets the office. What kinds of bans do you think we can expect? Is there something we might want to buy-up this remaining year, or will there even be a grandfather clause to secure your purchases? I'm not necessarily counting on a sunset clause for the next big ban. What's your best doom-and-gloom projection? How much mileage do you think the second ammendment has left in it before it gets ammended to more explicitly denote ''The right of the militia, to keep and bear arms'' as many seem to interpret it already?

According to their site, Sarah is trying to block the carrying of weapons in national parks, close the non-existent gunshow loophole, and keep terrorists from buying guns. Oh ya, they are still trying to require semiautomatic pistols to micro-imprint the bullet as it is being fired.

They did mention assault weapons a few times. Hillary will likely go with whatever HCI is pushing. They're good friends. I don;t expect anything too creative from Hillary, and Obama will likely not be very proactive about gun control...but doing nothing is just as bad as it will allow the antigun lobby to push through a lotta crap.

I had always jokingly called Sarah Brady's group a buncha commies, but if you read the legislature they are trying to pass...they reallly are communists. One of the initiatives they are pushing, titled "Keeping terrorists from buying guns" will prohibit anyone on the no-fly list from buying guns. No conviction necessary, you don;t even have to be charged with a crime, you may not even know you are on the list, but you'd have your 2nd ammendment rights ended.

If you read the legislation, there is no backup plan. No recourse to the law, no way to fight it. Just like the secret no-fly list, you cannot question why you are on it, you cannot get your name removed, you can;t even see the list. So some TSA hump decides you look mid-eastern and you are banned. Sarah thinks it is a good idea.
